CAROLINA LIGUORI necklaces are crafted from a variety of materials, and we advise against using chemicals to clean or polish your necklace. Natural stones and coral are porous and may sustain damage if exposed to chemicals, or too much sun. Materials such as horn, bone, and shell can lose their luster when treated with chemicals. Moreover, some of our metals are genuine silver or gold-plated and may tarnish over time.
To maintain the longevity and appearance of the necklaces, it is recommended to gently wipe body oils with a damp cloth only when necessary. Some metal components may develop a patina over time, enhancing the piece’s character. Your necklace will be shipped in a protective cloth bag; we recommend storing it in this original bag to prevent scratches, which may be unnoticeable initially but could dull the beads over time.
Most CAROLINA LIGUORI necklaces feature semi-precious stones and other natural materials. Additionally, many of our pieces include large stones that necessitate a longer string to facilitate movement. As a result, you might observe extra string when the necklace is not worn around the neck.
Character or Condition of the Necklace
A CAROLINA LIGUORI necklace is a design of multiple materials, and we purposely select beads or pieces that show character. The necklace you receive will not look prefabricated; on the contrary, it is handcrafted, and 99% of the time, it will be one of a kind. The necklace will be unique and exactly what you selected on our web page. We go even further and avoid embellishing the advertisement photos to ensure you receive what you ordered from the site. Damaged items or Incorrect Product
Most CAROLINA LIGUORI necklaces are heavy, as specified in their descriptions. We ship them in certified 32 ECT Single Wall boxes, which can hold up to 32 pounds. If your necklace arrives damaged, contact us at caro@carojewelry.com within three days of receiving your items, provide a photo of the damage and will work with you to resolve the issue.
Custom Orders
We started with private customers, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched our website to make our design public. We continue to work with private customers, and you can contact us caro@carojewelry.com with your idea or request, and we will design a unique piece for you. Custom orders require a 50% deposit that is non-refundable. Orders that require lapidary work can take up to 30 days or more to fulfill.
Warranty
We want your CAROLINA LIGUORI necklace to last forever; usage and care will determine its longevity. Your CAROLINA LIGUORI necklace is guaranteed for one year. If your necklace breaks within 365 days of its original purchase, we will repair it. A CAROLINA LIGUROI necklace is unique; you must provide all the original pieces to fix it, or it might look slightly different after the repair.
